Puerto Limon Cruise Ship Day Tour. Cahuita National Park Wildlife Reserve, Waterfall, Banana Plantation & Tropical Fruit Tasting
This is an adventure & Ecological experience for Cruise Ship Passengers arriving to Limon Port / Costa Rica.
The first stop is a brief stop at a typical Banana Plantation for a descriptive and sightseeing experience. Banana Export is one of Costa Rica’s main Agricultural Industry product introduced by the United Fruit Company in early 1900’s. Costa Rica is the 2nd largest Banana Exporter in the world.
A brief stop at a Local Tropical Fruit tasting and Souvenir Shop, you will be exposed for delicious Costa Rican Tropical fruits.
A visit to Cahuita National Park Wildlife Reserve, founded in 1970’s, will give you the experience to be in one of Costa Rica’s most beautiful and well preserved National Park surrounded by a rich Tropical Biological Diversity; Tropical plants, mammals, reptiles, amphibians and birds, an authentic Tropical Heaven Paradise for Tropical Wildlife. In addition, you will be all along the trail next to beautiful white sand beaches where you can swim optionally. At the end, we visit a typical Reggae Bar and Restaurant in Down Town Cahuita, here optionally you can order Tropical Cocktails, Seafood Meal including lobster and enjoy Reggae Music and an authentic Costa Rican Caribbean ambiance.
A visit to Dos Aguas “Two Waters Waterfall” in the South Caribbean Rainforest where you can swim and detox with clear Rainforest Waters.

We visited Costa Rica by cruise ship and had booked the hike/snorkel excursion. Unfortunately the waters were to rough to snorkel but Jorge was able to give us a great experience. We took a leisurely hike in Cahuita National Park and were able to see monkey’s, sloths and other wildlife.
